U2 – We Will Follow: The Legendary Broadcasts (4-CD Set)

From September to November 1982, U2 recorded the smash-hit album War at Windmill Lane Studios. The record became an instant classic and during 1983 U2 embarked on the War Tour of Europe, the US and Japan.

Disc 1 and 2 of this set feature the re-energised U2 broadcasting live from the Orpheum Theatre Boston on 6 May 1983. Disc 3 takes us back to March 1982, when U2 played fourteen US dates as the opening act for the J. Geils Band. The performance featured on this disc is the famous broadcast from The Ritz, New York on 18 March 1982. Lastly, Disc 4 showcases the legendary performance by U2 at the US Festival on Memorial Day weekend 1983 for an audience of 125,000 people.

This incredible anthology boasts a total of 42 tracks including U2 classics Sunday Bloody Sunday, New Year’s Day, I Will Follow, A Day Without Me, Gloria and many more.
